If you have any reasons why you do or don’t use the above amenities or any other comment or opinion about them, please write here:

  1. Red Lion Pub - Poor Selection of Ales and No Regular food
  2. Red Lion PH could benefit from a major upgrade and provision of good food.
  3. Until recently I worked full time on a job that took me away a lot and long hours. I don't drink and I don't have children only sport I play is badminton.
  4. Any social event up playing field, sometimes attend. Chapel now closing but service will be held once a month at Village Hall. Also will be using Village Hall once a week from April (pop-in coffee).
  5. Did use the village hall but it wasn't very child friendly and prices far too high for a social club type bar.
  6. The pub is horrible.
  7. The village hall are not consistent wit their opening hours, you never know when it is going to open.
  8. Village hall is hardly ever open.
  9. Cannot see the point in subsidising the village hall when this money could be used to improve other amenities in the village. The playing field can cater for all events and is self supporting, costing the parish nothing.
  10. The clubs often seem to be aimed at retired people
  11. I would like to use the pub, but no food and it does not feel very friendly.
  12. The Red Lion needs to be revamped and turned into a lovely village pub which welcomes everybody and serves lunches and evening meals (Like Moulton Garden Centre) also outside eating area for summer
  13. The Red Lion requires a friendly / welcoming landlord. Make available pub style meals / snacks i.e. Sunday Lunches. BBQ in summer months in beer garden.
  14. We would love to regularly visit the local pub but it does not look welcoming / appealing in any way and has put us off going. A pub garden would be great.
  15. The playing field is difficult to use for any reason because of the groundsman. He is difficult man to get on with or understand
  16. Pub is not open early enough for my time (after work)
  17. Keep vehicles from damaging the public footpaths and bridleways
  18. Purely because we are now old and incapacitated. Used to be active in lots of village activities
  19. No present need/interest i.e. don't use pub as we are non-drinkers with small child so do not go out drinking
  20. The pub is not inviting and needs refurbishment
  21. Leisure activities elsewhere
  22. Stracey Arms Shop/Café is on the A47 - not exactly the place I'd choose for a cuppa! Dangerous Junction
  23. Shop/Café is not part of village/accessible
